ALGAE & AQUATIC WEED CONTROL

Excess algae or growth of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV)  is an indication of a nutrient overload within an aquatic ecosystem.   Algaecides and aquatic herbicides, along with mechanical removal can be used to control excessive overgrowth. These methods address a symptom but do not effect the underlying cause.  Incorporating the correct biological agents in your pond maintenance is not only an integral Best Management Practice (BMP), but critical in a proactive management plan.
